Welcome to Kiddiecast, the podcast that quenches children’s thirst for knowledge (and gives parents a helping hand during the “why” phase). We know that nobody likes boring texts full of legal jargon… but this page is important and we promise to explain everything in a simple and uncomplicated way.

1. Who are we?

We’re the Kiddiecast team – a project made with love for curious families. When we say “we”, we mean the people responsible for the podcast and this website.

2. What data do we ask for (and why)?

We don’t collect unnecessary data. We only ask for what is really necessary and always with your consent.

a) Do you want to host the podcast?
If you want to join us as a presenter, we ask for:

Your name

Your email address

A short introduction about yourself

What for? Just to get to know you better and get in touch with you.

b) Do you have a child with a great question?
Then this form is for you (parent or guardian). We’ll ask for

Your name

Your e-mail address

The child’s name (can be made up or just their first name)

The child’s age

The wonderful question you want to ask Kiddiecast

What for? So that we can answer the question in the podcast and, with your permission, mention the child’s name (or pseudonym) and age during the episode. Because they deserve the stage!

3. And the legal basis for all this?

Everything we do with the data is based on your consent – in other words, we only use the data if you give us the green light. And you can change your mind whenever you want! Just write to hello@kiddiecast.eu and we’ll take care of it in no time.

4. Where do we keep the data? And for how long?

We keep the data in a safe place (really!) and only for as long as necessary. If you change your mind or want us to delete everything, just let us know.

5. Do we share your data?

No. We never sell, trade or give away your data as if it were ball cards. We only share if we have to by law.

6. What are your rights?

As a responsible adult, you have the right to:

Know what data we have about you;

Correct anything that is wrong;

Delete your data (if you want to disappear from our database, you can!);

Say you no longer want us to process your data;

Withdraw consent at any time.

All this is yours by right, and all you have to do is send an email to: hello@kiddiecast.eu.

7. What if this policy changes?

From time to time we may make improvements or adjustments here.
